Websites about films & images

IMDB The Internet Movie Database has become the main reference site for film facts and details
MRQE The movie review query engine probably does not list ALL reviews for all films, but it makes a pretty good attempt by listing many!
BBFC The British Board of Film Classification website is very useful for finding when films were released in the UK and who the distributor is/was.
FDA Film Distributors' Association for UK release schedules. It is possible to search by date, distributor or film title
Google Images Google Images for film stills (most tend to be small).
Channel 4 Good for smallish images and loads of reviews.
outnow.ch Good for large images. Although this Swiss website is in German it understands a lot of the English film titles. Click on the 'Bilder' tab and enter the film title.
